| Trained as an illustrator at Art Center College of Design and following a career in Detroit and New York City, Reed moved to Oregon and ultimately became a pioneer in web design and marketing—founding the Central Oregon Internet Directory and Sunriver Direct in 1995. The sites, linked to 18 domains, have become inclusive one-stop resources for locating local businesses and other information about Central Oregon and cities in the area. Plans are in the works to expand and include the greater Pacific Northwest. The sites will feature destinations photographed by Reed combined with information for visitors. |
