I have always used a Mac and when I began producing websites I had to get a PC to make sure the sites looked the same. But, over the years I have mastered the machines, so I got an iPAD. Was it a blessing or a curse? The first thing I found out, was that the usual link with underlined text was difficult to use unless you had a decent finger nail. Andthe pages didn't look the same, or they needed to be enlarged. Going back and forth and up and down was a nusiance unless you are one of the adolescents that can text while they drive and have cell phones growing out of their ears.
Well I'm not far behindbut, I have spent the last week at my computerday and night. Why? I had to revise the 50 or more web pages on my directories so that all you others can use the iPADswhile you travel to all the places I have listed, or described, in my directories.
Is it worth it? You bet! But, I will sure be glad when I can see what all those black areas that are "flash" features, and in some cases fill the entire site. In the meantime, my sites may not be the latest Dreamweaver production, but they do get the information out there for those of us who are not technopphiles, or cannot afford to hire one to create the websites that don't work. Today I had a hairdresser appointment. looked down and thoughtdid I pull out that much hair? Somy websites may look simple, but they work. RememberKISS!
