The balloons were scheduled to launch at 6:30am from Jewel ElementarySchool. We arrived at Pilot Butte, a recommended view point across town at 5:45. The gate was closed so we hiked to where the hiking trail and road intersected as we noticed the first balloon was aloft at 6:10.
